3 – Unsolicited Communications:
Contract Courier complies with applicable laws regarding unsolicited marketing messages (e.g., ‘spam’) and will not send you such messages in contravention of such laws. Our online store allows you to sign up and expressly consent to receive electronic communications. We will ensure that each email includes an opt-out feature and instructions on how to un-subscribe if you no longer wish to receive future e-mails from us. If you have not expressly opted-in to receiving electronic marketing communications, we will only communicate with you if we are otherwise entitled to do so by applicable law.
4 – Third-Party Advertising Partners:
We use third-party service providers to serve advertisements on our behalf across the internet. These advertising service providers may collect non-identifiable information about your visits to our website, and your interactions with our products and services. Such non-identifiable information does not include your name, address, email address, or other Personal Information. Such providers may place and access their cookies, tags, web beacons, or similar technologies on your computer or device used to access the website to serve you ads or other content personalized to your interests. In addition to the information about your visits to our website, our service providers may also use the information about your visits to other websites to target advertisements for products and services available from Contract Courier.
As described above, you may reject the use of cookies when accessing our website and you may be able to set your browser to reject cookies later. In that case, you may still receive online advertising, but it may be less personalized.
5 – “Do Not Track” Signals:
Unless your browser settings are configured to make your online activities and publicly available information about your online activities (such as traffic data) invisible to usage analytics tools, we cannot presently omit you from usage analytics to the extent your browser only sends us a “do not track” signals or message and does not otherwise screen you from tracking without any action on our part.
Third parties, other than our vendors (such as our website analytics provider), do not have authorization from us to track which websites you visited before and after visiting our website. That said, we cannot control third-party tracking and there may be some third-party tracking over time and across third-party websites that occurs without our knowledge or consent.

Our website may contain links to other websites which are not under the control of Contract Courier. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such other websites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our website and to read the privacy statements of each website to which we may link that may collect Personal Information.
SECURITY:
We maintain reasonable technical, physical, and administrative security safeguards to protect Personal Information against loss and any form of unlawful processing (such as theft and unauthorized access). Any Personal Information you provide to us is exchanged on a secure server. Furthermore, our website is secured by SSL encryption to protect Personal Information from unauthorized access when transferring them over the Internet.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY:
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 16 without permission from a parent or guardian. If we learn that we have collected the Personal Information of such a child, we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY:
SECURITY Contract Courier reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of this Privacy Policy at any time and from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes to our Privacy Policy as required by law. We will also post an updated copy on our website. Please check our site periodically for updates. Your continued use of our website means that you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your Personal Information as set out in the updated Privacy Policy.

JURISDICTION SPECIFIC PROVISIONS:
1 – Supplemental provisions for California residents.
California residents have the right to ask us one time each year if we have shared Personal Information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make a request, please send us an email at info@contractcourier.ca, call us at the phone numbers listed in the How to Contact Us section above, or submit your request here. Indicate in your letter that you are a California resident making a “Shine the Light” inquiry.
California residents also have certain rights concerning Personal Information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”). For purposes of this subsection, the terms “consumer,” “categories of personal information,” “business purpose,” “third party,” and “sell.” have the meanings ascribed to them respectively in the CCPA. Terms defined under the CCPA may differ in meaning from the common usage of the same terms used elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.
In response to verified requests under #1 or #2 above, we will disclose and deliver the required information to you free of charge within 45 days of receiving a verifiable consumer request. We may extend this period to provide once by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary. We will provide notice of the extension within the first 45-day period.
Contract Courier will not discriminate against you because you elect to exercise these rights, including by:
None of the foregoing, however, prohibits Contract Courier from charging you a different price or rate, or from providing a different level or quality of goods or services to you, if that difference is reasonably related to the value provided to Contract Courier by your data.
Submission of Requests.
You or your authorized representative may exercise these rights by submitting the request online here or by calling us at 1 (403) 402-6647. If you wish to submit a CCPA request to have your Personal Information deleted (see section I.A.3 in this Appendix), call us at 1 (403) 402-6647. To verify your request, we will require you (or your authorized representative) to provide your full name, your e-mail address, your mailing address, and your phone number.
Authorized Agents.
If you are an authorized agent seeking to submit a CCPA request on behalf of a consumer, you must make your request by emailing us at info@contractcourier.ca and putting the words “CCPA Requests, Authorized Agents” in the subject field. You also need to attach to your email proof that you are registered with the Attorney General, as required by law, and proof you have written authority to act for the consumer. You must also provide the full name, e-mail address, mailing address, and phone number of the consumer you are representing so we can verify their identity, or provide documentation that you have power of attorney for the consumer under Probate Code sections 4000-4465. We will not be able to honor requests without sufficient documentation that you are authorized to represent the consumer.
Verification.
We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity (or the identity and authority of your authorized representative) before responding to your requests under CCPA. Upon receiving a request under #1 or #2 above, we will confirm receipt within 10 days and provide you with information about how we will verify and process the request.
We may deny certain requests, or fulfill a request only in part, based on our legal rights and obligations. For example, we may retain Personal Information as permitted by law, and to process transactions and facilitate customer requests. Employment-related Personal Information will not be included in fulfillment of your requests.
